Rewatching Mulholland Drive last night reinforced my opinion that Tenet is a failed movie. I’m convinced that there’s “no There, there” and if it wasn’t a “Christopher Nolan Film™” we’d all be like, “Well, that was dumb” and move on. Lynch knows how to make a movie that we’re not supposed to completely understand, but yet somehow makes perfect sense.

Oh, and Lynch could also teach Nolan about how a movie should sound. Mixing things so one can actually hear the dialog should be a requirement. And when we can understand the dialog in Tenet, it’s usually an info dump anyway, which we shouldn’t need to begin with. What a mess.
